"I'll Never Hurt You"

It's been almost eight months
Mostly the times were fun.
There were things we did,
and a bunch we hid.
Now am I the one,
To smile or be dumb?
I'm told it's not right.
Please come to my sight.
Fights followed with many screams,
Following them are bad dreams.
Guess I'm used to lies,
and those types of guys.
My father was to begin,
I'm letting him now win.
Told I'd never get hurt,
embarassed to wear a skirt.
Don't know the right path,
cannot do the simple math.
So, you'll never hurt me?
Alright, well, woe is me.
